EPA PAH 17 (Tar) – (EPA PAH 16 + Coronene) testing is based on an asphalt matrix for arisings from highway investigations using a rigorous process following EA validation guidance. Our services include PAK marker PAH screening, and speciated analysis of benzo(a)pyrene and total PAH testing by GC-MS for determination of road tar presence in asphalt matrix. The results of these analyses allow us to assess the potential hazard posed by materials containing road tar, ensuring that they meet regulatory guidelines.
